Signify’s lighting offer grows with new Philips Hue products, this time designed to give you a warm touch and intoxicating to the decoration of our home.

Another of the products designed to generate that warm atmosphere that we are looking for is the Philips Hue White ambiance, a candle-shaped light bulb that imitates the old filament ones. In this case, it is possible to change the color temperature, even though the bulb is not RGB. In this way, we can go from cold to warm light in an instant through the mobile app.

Play Gradient for PC is another of the firm’s new proposals. Although its LED strip was already available for televisions, now the company also announces its compatibility for PC. Its price will vary depending on the size of the monitor in inches.

In addition to all the products presented, Signify has also announced news that will soon arrive in the Philips Hue app. The first of them is ‘Mimic Presence’, a function that arrives this month to the mobile application and that automatically turns on or off the lights in our house depending on whether or not we are in it. In addition, it can also be configured to do so during the day or at night.

In recent months, Signify has been slowly adding features to the Philips Hue app so that everything to do with the lighting of these bulbs can be configured through it. The company had other apps to control lighting depending on the product, but are now in a state of unification. This is what has also happened to Hue Play Sync Box, a function that from now on will be accessible from Philips Hue and not from a separate app.

Along with this, the company also recently announced the integration with SmartThings, the Samsung ecosystem. In this way, Philips Hue bulbs will be able to sync with music that is being played on the company’s mobile devices and tablets through ‘Music sync’ from an app developed in collaboration with both companies. Music sync allows the bulbs to modify their lighting based on the rhythm of the music, although this requires a Hub such as the Hue Bridge and a Samsung Galaxy device. The good thing is that it will be compatible with any music platform in streaming and not only with Spotify, like the Hue app.

Philips Hue Lightguide bulbs will be available during Q4 2022 and at a price of between €84.99 and €99.99, depending on the model we choose. On the other hand, the hanging cords can be purchased at a price of €49.99. Philips Hue White ambiance filament bulbs will hit stores on September 13 at a price of €44.99. It is also possible to purchase a pack of two at a price of €64.99. Play Gradient LED strips for PC will also arrive on September 13. Its price varies depending on the size of the monitor.
